In WWII, they estimated that behind every soldier on the front line were 30 support staff. It is similar today with Missions. Behind every missionary on the field is a team of supporters, churches, and home staff that make their ministry possible. In the past two weeks Rich has visited Ambassadors in Sports Headquarters, in Twinsburg, OH, and now we are spending a week at CrossWorld headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
A place to post pictures and a updates of the Mears ministry in Haiti...members of CrossWorld, in Haiti as guests & coworkers of UEBH...establishing AIS-Haiti Sports Ministry (Ambassadors in Sport), Carol teaching English, ESL and French at QCS (Quisqueya Christian School), and...wherever God leads...

Part of our reality in Haiti...
I remember asking my poor college daughter to drag a bunch of junk from the grocery and drug stores to Haiti. The person helping her get them (since she had no car) had been to Haiti and they said "you can get all this stuff in Haiti!"
Ginny, from Angel Mission put up this post with pictures and prices of the stuff like $11 mayo, $22 strawberries, $8 cheese, etc.

Canadians invade Haiti!
A large team of 46 Canadian college students came down to Haiti from April 28 to May 9th with 80 bags of sports equipment and lots of love to shower on Haitian school children.
Ronald William handled all the logistics for this trip and reports that all went well.
From April 30 to May 4 they visited eight Haitian primary schools and did Physical Education activities with the students. Then in the afternoon they worked on building a soccer field for one of the schools. They also organized a soccer tournament between the eight schools they visited and the final was on Friday.
During this tournament AIS Haiti did evangelism at all the games, and many heard the Gospel!
