Verrettes Tournament plans for the summer

Richard and Daniel went out to Verrettes on Thursday to meet with the TREC graduates out there and planned the tournament for this summer. There was a great turnout for the meeting and dates were chosen for the last week of June. Please pray with us for all of the tournaments for summer 2008--that God will provide all that is needed and that they will be used for His glory.

  1. Greetings Mears Family from Lancaster County, PA!

It never ceases to amaze me how our wonderful God continuously guides us! Tonight I did a search on "Verrettes" and your site caught my attention. After browsing at your home page I realized that you were from PA and I proceeded to spend the next two hours reading your postings! I would love to meet you family sometime. Your service is commendable!

My story is too long for this comment section, however I will tell you that God has been stirring my heart for Haiti! I went on my first ever missions trip in March 2008 to the YWAM base in Saint Marc, Haiti. This experience was life changing for me! While we were at YWAM, our team really connected with a group of DTS students (Discipleship Training School) all from Haiti. These young adults have been studying there for 5 months and will graduate this Sunday, June 1. Nine of the students came to the states with visas to complete the global outreach portion of their study. Our family had the pleasure of hosting two of the students during their 3-week stay in Lancaster County. What a blessing they were to our family! We will forever consider Richard and Jude an extension of our family.

I was really hoping to surprise them by being at their graduation, however with the end of school schedule here (I have a 2nd and 4th grader), it's nearly impossible. Maybe later this summer.

Keep up your awesome service in Haiti! When I get there, I'll try to find you so that I can tell you my story in person!

    Bright Blessings, Marsha
