One of the first soccer coaches I worked with in Haiti, Lionel Nicholas, recently called me. He said he is coaching a secular soccer team as a volunteer but still tries to introduce his players to Christ. He encouraged me by saying that he still remembers many of the coaching and spiritual principles I taught him and is using them daily.
As you start this New Year why not call someone up who has helped you in the past and express your appreciation. It will make you feel good and really encourage your friend!
